Adapted from Psalm 119:73-80 Y Yodh (NASB)
(Tune: O I'd Rather...lollipop")

Your hands made me
and fashioned me;
Giving me understanding,
that I may learn Your commandments.
May those who fear You
see me
and be glad,
‘cause I wait
for Your word.

I know, O LORD,
Your laws are righteousness,
and that in faithfulness You have
afflicted me.
O may Your
lovingkindness
comfort me

According to Your word to me,
May Your compassion come to me
that I may live, for Your law is
my delight.
May the boastful
be ashamed,
for their lie

But I shall think on Your precepts.
May those who fear You turn to me,
Even those who know Your testimonies.
May my heart
be blameless
in Your law,
So I will
Not be ashamed.

Adapted from Psalm 119:65-72 Teth (NASB)
(Tune: "Heart and Soul"/"Boom-day-a-da")

(Verse 1)
You have dealt (c-c-c)
well with Your servant,
O-O LORD, (e-e-e)
according to Your word.
Teach (g)
me (c)
good judgment and truth (a-g-f-e-d)

(Verse 2)
I believe (c-c-c)
Your commandments.
Before I (e-e-e)
was afflicted
I (g)
went (c)
astray, But now I (a-g-f-e-d)

(Refrain: music of "Boom-day-a-da" 2 times)
keep Your word.
You are good,
and do good;

Teach me Your statutes.
The proud
have forged a lie,

(Verse 3)
I will keep (c-c-c)
Your precepts with
my whole heart. (e-e-e)
Their heart is fat as grease,
But (g)
I (c)
delight in Your law. (a-g-f-e-d)

(Verse 4)
It is good (c-c-c)
for me that I have been
afflicted, (e-e-e)
That I may learn Your
sta- (g)
tutes. (c)
The law of Your mouth (a-g-f-e-d)

(Refrain)
is better to me
Than thou-
sands of coins

better to me
than coins of
gold and silver. (g-a-b-middle c)
